Prince William meets Karan Johar ahead of 2026 Earthshot event in Mumbai

Prince William has teamed up with Karan Johar as Mumbai is set to house the 2026 Earthshot event.

On Friday, September 18, the official Instagram handle of earthshot prize, Karan Johar, and the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a joint video post announcing that Karan Johar is set to host Prince William’s 2026 Earthshot Prize awards, which will take place in Mumbai on November 17.

In the posted video clip, the karan can be seen teasing 15 finalists and 5 winners who are to be in the upcoming ceremony.

However, the caption highlighted, “Mumbai here we come! Excited to reveal the 2026 Earthshot Prize Finalists: the inspirational leaders from around the world tackling some of the most pressing challenges facing our planet.”

“Learn about all of this year’s Finalists from today, and join us this November for the 2026 Earthshot Prize Awards Night, where we’ll celebrate this year’s incredible Finalists and Winners,” it concluded.

In the comment section, the royal fans showed their excitement as one user wrote, “Can’t wait.”

While another wrote, “Amazing!! I am excited!”

It is pertinent to mention here that the Earthshot Prize is a global environmental award that was founded by Prince William in 2020, who also serves as its current president.
