The Invictus Spirit Awards: Prince Harry offers a sneak peek into the big day

‘The Invictus Games’, one of the very first award events for the veteran focused events of the yar has just concluded and a glimpse of all that happened behind the scenes is now out into the spotlight, coming straight from Prince Harry and his foundation, Invictus Games.

A video collage of everything has been shared to highlight some key moments from the award show and according to Prince Harry himself, in his opening speech, this night “we celebrate the people who kept going and the people who stood beside them. And we make a promise to those still beginning that journey: You will not have to do it alone. That is the Invictus Spirit. That is what these awards will stand for.”

More than that, the event also managed to raise more than £1.6 million at the inaugural Invictus Spirit Awards presented by ATCO and according to the official Instagram account, “The money will help create more opportunities for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans around the world to recover through sport.”
