When Prince Harry introduced Meghan Markle to uncle Charles Spencer
Prince Harry expressed his excitement to take Meghan Markle to his maternal family
Prince Harry is very close to his maternal uncle Charles Spencer.
The Duke of Sussex, who has often labelled his uncle as his second father, touched upon the time when he introduced wife Meghan Markle to Princess Diana‘s family.
Harry wrote in memoir ‘Spare’: "At long last I was bringing the girl of my dreams home to meet Mum."
He added: "Uncle Charles came down to the water's edge and gave us a little shove. We waved to him and to my two aunts. Bye. See you in a bit.
"Gliding across the pond, I gazed around at Althorp's rolling fields and ancient trees, the thousands of green acres where my mother grew up, and where, though things weren’t perfect, she'd known some peace,” he noted.
