Prince Harry attended the inaugural 'Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards' in London on Thursday, September 17. This was his first public appearance since returning to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex appeared to be in high spirits upon arriving for the ceremony held at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. He opted for a black suit and bow tie for the event.

His wife, Meghan Markle, was not present at the event. The Duchess of Sussex is believed to have stayed home with Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 7, as the family settles into their new house in Cotswolds.

For those unversed, the royal couple moved into their new home in the Cotswolds, United Kingdom, about three weeks ago.

Following their return, an insider spilled to People magazine that Harry and Meghan's first priority is to settle their children into their new surroundings.

"Settling the kids has been, and remains, their focus," the source told the outlet. "Everything else will fall into place when the time is right."

“There is a lot to do. They have just moved halfway across the world, and it’s been really busy getting the kids settled,” the insider continued.

A tipster added,“Their focus has been on that, and will remain on that, for the time being. They are happy to be back.”
