According to Argentinian meda, the venue of the farewell match will be La Bombonera, the home stadium of Boca Juniors and a place associated with his career-related milestones.
Here is the most interesting thing about the upcoming farewell match which drew the attention of football fans. As per the reports, Tevez’s guest list included two prominent stars, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who could share the pitch together for the first time.
Ronaldo and Tevez shared a two-season spell at Manchester United following Tevez’s arrival in 2007, securing back-to-back Premier League titles, the 2007–2008 UEFA Champions League after defeating Chelsea, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, Messi also represents Tevez’s long-standing partnership on the international stage. Both represented the Argentina national team across multiple World Cups and Copa America tournaments.
This farewell match is going to be exciting if both football stars accept the offers and are placed on the same team. The fans could witness the moments where Messi and Ronaldo are seen playing alongside for the first time.
According to the media, the farewell match is expected to take place in December 2026. Two possible dates under consideration: either it could be December 12-13 or December 19-20.
