Xiaomi 18 Fold leaks again with red color, triple cameras: Check images here

The Xiaomi 18 Fold keeps showing up before Xiaomi is ready to show it off. A new set of real-world images, shared on Weibo by leaker Digital Chat Station, gives the clearest look yet at the wide-screen foldable, this time with its camera island fully visible for the first time.

Earlier leaks this month kept the phone's rear camera module hidden. These latest shots don't. They show a triple-camera setup arranged inside a horizontal visor, a design that echoes the Huawei Pura X Max, which beat both Samsung and Apple to market as the first wide-folding phone.

The unit pictured wears a "Dark Cherry" red case-covered finish, though Xiaomi has confirmed the images show an engineering prototype, meaning the final retail version could still shift in small ways.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold would be the flagship model for the in-house XRing O₃ chipset from Xiaomi, and the statistics for the same are quite aggressive.

The ten-core processor was said to have been rated 5.22 million points in the AnTuTu test and thereby becomes the first smartphone processor to cross the 5-million-point barrier with a multi-core score of more than 15,000, which is an increase of 60 per cent from last year's XRing O1.

Xiaomi’s 18 Fold won’t be entering any voids, considering that Samsung has had success selling their Galaxy Z Fold 8 on the domestic market and Apple is planning to release their own wide-screen foldable iPhone soon.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun revealed the 18 Fold in September alongside other Xiaomi releases; however, Xiaomi did not provide a date for the product’s release yet, and it’s still unclear whether this phone will have international sales at first.
