Monzo down: Here’s everything you need to know
Monzo customers experience outage with users unable to access accounts
Monzo app users have reported problems accessing their accounts after a technical glitch affected the banking app. Customers have been unable to log in or use services, leaving thousands of users waiting for the issue to be resolved.
Users who logged into their bank account today got a message that reads: “We are experiencing issues. We’ll let you know when they are resolved.”
The application is still showing users bank balances, features but not properly working. A warning message has been released by the app Monzo: “You can still use your card to make payments. Your balance and transactions might take longer to update in your feed, and some app features may be unavailable. We’re working to fix this as quickly as possible.”
Users have been advised that they can continue to make payments, withdraw cash, see balances, freeze their cards and transfer money between accounts. Down Detector confirmed an influx of outage reports for Monzo starting from 12 pm today with thousands of people reporting issues, as reported by The Independent.
