Piers Morgan responds to Ronaldo’s fiancee Georgina Rodriguez’s body image message: ‘Ridiculous’
Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez wedding is expected to take place on weekend at Funchal Cathedral
Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez are set to tie the knot on the weekend. In the midst of wedding buzz, Rodriguez slammed the critics who body-shamed her with a powerful message.
The unfair criticism stems from the pictures of the 31-year-old model and influence wearing the swimming suit. But the fiancée of Ronaldo shut down the criticism, asserting, “I love my curves.”
Taking to Instagram, Rodriguez posted, “I’m the mother of six wonderful children, three of whom are girls who will one day be great women. And if there’s one thing I want to teach them—along with Cris [in reference to Ronaldo], whom I’m deeply proud of for the values he embodies as a father and as a man—it’s that a person’s worth can never depend on their physical appearance or the opinions of strangers.”
She further added, “Success is living in peace and surrounding myself with the people I love. Taking care of my health. Laughing, Learning, Living.”
The powerful and affirmative message drew praises not only from the users but also from notable personalities.
Piers Morgan, the renowned broadcaster, responded to Rodriguez’s message and appreciated her candid views.
Morgan posted on X, “Ridiculous that she’s even having to do this, but well said Georgina. You look fabulous and Cristiano is a lucky man.”
Even the Portuguese football star also came to her support with a beautiful message.
“You don’t live off your image. You live off who you are. A perfect woman. Beautiful, with a great body, a mother, a good person, successful, and who lives life with love. What more could you want?” Cristiano Ronaldo responded.
Even the users across the social media platforms appreciated Georgina Rodriguez’s views and called her pure soul and beautiful woman.
