Alison Hammond opens up about 22-year age gap relationship, marriage plans

Alison Hammond has opened up about her 22-year age gap relationship and plans to get married with her boyfriend David Putman.

The This Morning, 51, is currently dating a 28-year-old Russian model and massage therapist. The couple has been together since 2023.

Recently, ITV presenter Alison revealed that the relationship is going “really, really well” for the couple. But she denied plans for a traditional wedding, stating that they do not feel the need to get married and describing their relationship as "cool" and "easy."

She added, “We don’t need to! We’re both cool…I’ve got a lovely man in my life.”

“He just sees me for who I am. We choose each other, every day”.

Speaking about the age-gap in the relationship, Alison has dismissed public criticism regarding this, emphasizing that their connection is special and that David’s maturity makes the relationship work.

“It’s nothing to do with anyone else.Yeah, people are going to talk. People do. But that’s their business, not mine,” she added.

The couple met professionally in 2023 when Alison booked a massage session with David. While the couple maintains a relatively private profile with few public appearances, Alison occasionally shares updates about their life together on social media.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping, Alison said, “I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference.”

“Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand. People have said to me, ‘We get it now.’”

Last week, Alison Hammond also stole the spotlight by conducting the interview of the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry on Friday in Birmingham.

To kick off the live broadcast, she and Prince Harry participated in a chaotic round of "laser run." The event concluded with Alison celebrating the Duke’s victory by sharing an enthusiastic hug and jumping for joy with him.
