Jayden Adams' partner breaks silence after soccer player's sudden death
South African soccer player Jayden Adams breathed his last on July 11 at the age of 25
Jayden Adams’ longtime partner, Aqueelah Adendorf, has finally broken the silence on the sudden death of the professional soccer player.
Aqueelah took to her Instagram handle on Sunday to pay an emotional tribute to Jayden, who passed away on July 11.
“There are no words to describe the pain I’m feeling,” she penned. “Rest in peace, my love."
Aqueelah further wrote, "Thank you for every memory, every laugh, every hug, and every moment we shared. You were not only the love of my life but also my greatest supporter and my best friend.”
“A part of my heart left with you, and I will carry your love with me forever,” she added. “Until we meet again, I’ll miss you every single day. Rest easy, my angel. I love you always and forever.”
She also thanked her followers for sending their “kind condolences and messages of support.”
“They truly mean a lot to me and Allaia during this difficult time, even if I haven’t responded yet,” Aqueelah penned on Instgram Stories, referring to the couple’s 5-year-old daughter, Allaia-Jayda.
“I will get back to everyone as soon as I can. Thank you for your understanding and kindness," she added.
For those unversed, Jayden breathed his last on July 11 at the age of 25. The football player's death was announced by the South African Football Players Union (SAFPU) on social media.
“The South African Football Players Union (SAFPU) is devastated by the untimely passing of Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder, Jayden Adams,” the union stated in a statement shared on it’s official X account.
“His passing is an immeasurable loss to his family, teammates, clubs, the football fraternity and the country at large," the statement read.
Jayden recently represented South Africa at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
