Recently,Tad DiBiase, a veteran homicide prosecutor has come up with new claims, stating, Nancy Guthrie’s case could still move forward even in the case of non-recovery of her body.

Speaking with Brian Entin, the top expert known for dealing with “no body” homicide cases, talked about the chances of successfully proceeding the case in the case of no body having been found.

"It is always, always better to have a body, without a doubt. Because even if you get remains, it tells you, 'this person left these remains here,’’’DiBiase told Entin.

DiBiase maintains that the Guthrie case is a viable "no body" prosecution, meaning a suspect could be convicted even in the absence of physical remains.

The interview comes after the FBI director Kash Patel offered some insights into the support their agency offered in Nancy’s kidnapping case.

“We showed up immediately and offered our assistance. We were not let in for four days. And that’s their choice. We offered our assistance to go test the DNA. And it’s up to them. They chose to use a private laboratory,” Patel claimed.

“We continue to offer assistance. I even visited our Tucson office, where we had 150 agents and analysts working on the Nancy Guthrie race to provide intelligence,” he added.

It has been over 100 days since the disappearance of the 84-year-old, the authorities are still analyzing the DNA and blood evidence collected at the crime scene. And Guthrie family and the public are still looking for much-awaited answers.
