Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown’s official cause of death has been laid bare just a week after he found dead in the Okanogan River in Washington.
As per the autopsy report obtained by Page Six, Matt's died from a single penetrating gunshot wound to the head. The reality star's death was ruled a suicide.
Matt's body has been released to his family.
For those unversed, Matt found unresponsive in the Okanogan River in Washington on May 30. He was 48.
The TV star's brother Bear Brown shared the sad news on social media last week, revealing that their younger brother Noah Brown was the one who identified the body.
“They found a body in the river a few hours ago and it was positively identified as being Matt," Bear penned last week.
"I didn’t think he would hurt himself, it does look like the injury is self-inflicted,” he added. “Obviously, the coroner has to look at him and stuff, but I thought you guys should know it is him."
For those unversed, Matt rose to fame after starring on Discovery’s reality show, Alaskan Bush People. He was a member of the show from 2014 until 2019.
