'Off Campus' stars Mika Abdalla, Jake Short breakup after 5 years together
Mika Abdalla and Jake Short got engaged in May 2025
Mika Abdalla and Jake Short have called off their engagement.
On Tuesday, an insider close to the pair confirmed to Us Weekly that the Off Campus stars parted ways one year after getting engaged.
"Due to recent interest in Mika’s personal life it would feel remiss to not address that her and Jake are no longer together,” a rep for Mila told the outlet.
“They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect," added a spokesperson.
For those unversed, Mika and Jake got engaged in May 2025.
This shocking split comes just days after Off Campus creator Louisa Levy confirmed that the romantic series has been renewed for season 2.
As per media outlets, the upcoming season will revolve around the love story of Mika and Stephen Kalyn's character, Allie Hayes, and Dean Di Laurentis.
“Even though we do tease Dean and Allie a lot earlier than people expect, you are still left wanting a lot more,” Mika told the publication in May.
“And that’s something I’m really excited about. You just want to see more," she added.
It is worth mentioning here that Off Campus season 1 premiered on May 13, 2026, on Prime Video.
