Anne Hathaway shares hilarious reality of raising two boys

Anne Hathaway revealed that she loves "hanging out" with her sons.

The Devil Wears Prada actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming film The Odyssey, shared a rare insight into her life as a mom of two sons, Jonathan, 10 and Jack, six, whom she shares with husband Adam Shulman.

Speaking to Elle magazine for its Summer 2026 issue, Hathaway shared, “Our boys are in this really fun zone where we all love hanging out together."

The doting mom then said with a laugh, “Well, we will always love hanging out with them, but their feelings about us might change.”

Hathaway then added a relatable period that every parent faces.

She noted that she and her husband Shulman, try to spend quality time with their sons as much as possible before they start to think their parents are not cool anymore.

"We’re all just in it," she said. "Adam and I are soaking it up."

In the midst of her blockbuster movies and motherhood duties, the 43-year-old actress shared, "I’m having the most wonderful time with my family, living in the city of my dreams, and work seems to be going really, really well."

She joked, “So rather obnoxiously, I’m having a great time as everything else burns."

Elsewhere during the conversation, she revealed that being a mom of two boys, her way of styling has also changed.

“You have to be able to play pickup basketball at any point, in any outfit. You 100 percent are going to have a projectile thrown at you probably by the end of breakfast," Hathaway shared.
