Four alien species recovered from crashed UFOs, Ex-CIA researcher claims
Existence of aliens claims are largely based on witness accounts rather than any available physical proof
On Thursday's Diary of a CEO podcast, 89-year-old Stanford-trained physicist Dr Hal Puthoff made a striking assertion: the US has recovered at least four distinct alien species from crashed UFOs.
Puthoff, who had once been a research scientist in the CIA’s Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP), never provided any direct evidence that proved that he himself had not handled any biological material that was reportedly retrieved from crashed UFOs.
"People who have been involved in recoveries have said there are at least four types," Puthoff said. His claim echoes testimony from David Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer who testified under oath to Congress in 2023 that the US possesses "non-human biologics" recovered from dozens of crashed spacecraft.
The Greys, Nordics, Insectoids, and Reptilians have been named by Dr Eric Davis, a well-known colleague of Puthoff and also an adviser to AAWSAP, who made the statement at the 2025 UAP Disclosure Fund conference that was attended by Reps Nancy Mace, Anna Paulina Luna, and Eric Burlison.
Dr Eric Davis and other UFO experts claim that each group possesses a humanoid body with two arms and legs. Nordics are defined as a human-sized race, about 6 feet tall, looking like northern Europeans.
Characteristics of reptilians include upright stance, scales on the body, long tails, and human-like limbs. The Grey aliens are easily distinguishable, small-sized aliens without hair and with huge eyes like those seen in movies such as "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Insectoids, also referred to as 'mantids', are alien species with a resemblance to praying mantises.
These claims are largely based on witness accounts rather than any available physical proof. According to Dan Farrah, the filmmaker behind Age of Disclosure who interviewed Puthoff on his podcast, the people who could testify have declined because they fear for their safety.
