Elsie Hewitt makes pointed claim about single motherhood after Pete Davidson split

Following the reports of Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt's split, the newly minted mom has claimed that she had to take care of her and the comedian's daughter all by herself.

​The 30-year-old model, who welcomed their daughter in December, Scottie Rose, took to her TikTok account and addressed the concerns of her followers on her looks, saying that she does not have to care how she looks as now she has a bigger responsibility: taking care of her daughter Scottie.

​"That's not what I'm thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of," Elsie said in the video.

​And she claimed that she not only has to look after her daughter's maternal needs but also support her financially.

​"I also have to work and make money, and I'm doing it on my own, which is hard," she added.

​Elsie captioned the video "Priorities ?!?!"

​She also posted a story on Instagram on Saturday that she is looking for a nanny for her daughter.

​After Elsie's video, Pete's pals have come to his defense, as an insider told PageSix that “Pete has been paying for everything related to Elsie and Scottie,” including “the rent, their living expenses, their health insurance.”

​The source further claimed that the pair “may have split but all he wants is for Elsie to be happy and in a good place.”

​The tattler added, “His main priority right now is making sure that Elsie and Scottie are looked after, so it’s utterly confusing to everyone who knows them why she would possibly post anything about him not supporting her."

​The news of Elsie and Pete's split came earlier this month after multiple outlets reported that the pair was “navigating relationship struggles” and struggling to adjust to co-parenting.
