Rebecca Gayheart remembers husband Eric Dane 3 months after his death

Rebecca Gayheart is remembering her husband, Eric Dane, three months after his death.

On Thursday, the Scream actress took to her Instagram handle to share a post commemorating the father of her three children.

The image showed a plaque that read, “In Loving Memory of Eric William Dane. 1972-2026.”

The post comes nearly three months after Eric's family announced his death. The Grey's Anatomy star breathed his last on February 19 following a battle with ALS.

“With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS,” as per the statement shared with Us Weekly in February. 

“He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world," continued the statement.

"Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always," the actor's family penned.

"Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time." the statement concluded.
