Iran expected to respond to US proposal on Thursday through Pakistan as talks advance
Pakistan has continued to act as a mediator between the two sides during the negotiations, according to previous reports
Iran is expected to deliver its response to a United States proposal aimed at ending the ongoing war on Thursday, according to a regional source cited by CNN.
The development comes as negotiations between Washington and Tehran appear to be gaining momentum after weeks of conflict and rising tensions in the region.
Iran has been reviewing the latest proposal from the US, with sources indicating to CNN that both sides are moving closer towards a possible agreement to end the fighting.
Earlier on Wednesday, Donald Trump said Washington had held productive discussions with Iranian officials.
“We have had very good talks” with Iran over the past 24 hours, Trump said.
Pakistan has continued to act as a mediator between the two sides during the negotiations, according to previous reports.
While no official details of the proposal have been released, the expected Iranian response is being closely watched as a possible turning point in efforts to secure a broader ceasefire agreement and prevent further escalation across the Middle East.
