Dan Levy says he wanted ‘dust to settle’ after Schitt’s Creek
Dan Levy reveals he struggled over career decisions after ending Schitt’s Creek
Dan Levy admits he felt lost for a number of months after finishing filming for Schitt’s Creek.
The 42-year-old explains it took him some time to find his bearings after finishing six season of the show in 2020.
“When the show ended, there was this immediate conversation of, like, ‘What are you doing next?" Levy said at Max & Helen’s, per The Hollywood Reporter,
“God forbid I nap,” he added. “For me, it was like, I needed to take a minute because I knew what the show meant to me and I knew what it meant to other people. And having a show of your own, you’re so proud of what you make, and if you’re lucky enough to get, in our case, six seasons of a TV show, you walk away from that really proud of what you’ve done."
"Because you’re constantly going to be comparing it to the one that came before," he said. "So I needed the dust to settle.”
