Bad Bunny blasts ICE in Grammy acceptance speech: 'We aren't aliens'

Bad Bunny added another feature to his cap as he won the Best Música Urbana Album award at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

After accepting the trophy, the 31-year-old Puerto Rican musician gave a powerful speech criticizing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

"Before I say thanks to God, I'm gonna say ICE out," Bad said, receiving a standing ovation from the star-studded crowd.

"We're not savage, we aren't animals, we aren't aliens, we are humans, and we are Americans," he continued. "Also, I want to say to the people: I know it's tough not to hate on these days, and I was thinking sometimes we get contaminamos. I don't know how to say that in English."

The MONACO hitmaker further said, "The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that's more powerful than hate is love, so, please, we need to be different."

"If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don't hate them, we love our people, and we love our family. And that's the way to do it, with love. Don't forget that, please," Bad added, concluding his speech.

The rapper's comments come as the Trump administration intensifies its efforts against illegal immigration.
