Donald Trump Jr. thanks Bettina Anderson for accepting his proposal
Donald Trump Jr. is engaged to his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, after one year of dating.
On Monday, American President Donald Trump announced the engagement of his eldest son and the socialite at the White House.
“They get along very well and they are just announcing through me that they’re getting married,” Trump said before inviting the couple to the podium.
Trump Jr. then thanked Bettina for accepting his proposal.
"I'm not usually at a loss for words, because I'm usually doing the ranting and raving really well," said the businessman.
"I want to thank Bettina for that one word: 'Yes,'" he added.
Anderson then offered her comments, stating, "This has been the most unforgettable weekend."
"I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you," she added.
For those unversed, Donald Jr. was previously married to ex-wife Vanessa Trump. The former couple shares five children - Kai, 18, Donald III, 16, Tristan, 14, Spencer, 13, and Chloe, 11.
After ending his 12-year marriage with Vanessa in 2018, Donald Jr. began dating Kimberly Guilfoyle. However, the relationship didn't last long as they called it quits in 2020.
