King Charles, Prince William concerned about Andrew's mental health
Kate Middleton is reportedly also worried for Andrew
King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly worried for Andrew, who has become ‘isolated, depressed and solitary.’
This has been claimed by royal expert Robert Jobson and Jennie Bond.
Speaking to The Sun, Jobson said “I believe even members of the royal family who have taken action are concerned about both their mental health.”
When asked how Andrew and are coping, Jobson said, “Not very well, I don’t think.”
The expert further said, “You have to be concerned about the victims of the Epstein scandal, and that to me is the biggest worry. They’re human beings. A lot has been taken away.”
Meanwhile, royal expert Jennie Bond has said “Andrew is reported to have become isolated, depressed and solitary.”
The expert says Kate Middleton and Prince William believe in a basic “duty of care” toward Andrew, even as they keep him at arm’s length.
She explained, “While there is no love lost between William, Catherine and Andrew, my understanding is that they, and the rest of the royal family, believe they still have a duty of care for his welfare and mental health.”
As per media reports, Prince William ‘played active role’ in Andrew’s downfall and the Princess of Wales supported her husband.
The fresh claims came after King Charles initiated a formal process to remove the ‘Style, Titles and Honours’ of Andrew recently.
Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Andrew’s lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. “Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.’
