Sabrina Carpenter fans heartbroken over new setback
Sabrina Carpenter’s much-awaited project falls through
Sabrina Carpenter’s fans couldn’t contain their excitement after hearing the latest announcement about her casting rumours in Rapunzel, the live-action movie, so they are naturally disappointed over the arrangement falling through.
The 26-year-old pop superstar, who grew up acting on Disney, seemed to be the perfect fit for the role, and Carpenter was reportedly in talks with the company.
However, much to fans’ dismay, it was revealed that the deal didn’t “work out.”
Reacting to the news, social media users flocked to X, and one wrote, “what do you mean it didn’t work out make it work.”
Another added, “NOOOOOOO I NEEDED THIS,” while a third chimed in, “Can’t lie, she would’ve nailed it. curious to see who they pick now.”
One angry fan noted, “Just cancel the live action if it didn’t work out.”
While others presented their preferences for the role, including Sydney Sweeney, Elle Fanning, Amanda Seyfried, Mandy Moore, and Mckenna Grace.
“Sydney Sweeney would have been perfect but without the singing which makes Sabrina the best person for this… make it work!,” wrote an X user.
Disney hasn’t officially confirmed who they will be casting for the role.
