Kate Middleton seems to have a lot on her plate as she remains determined to end the year on a positive note especially after having some difficult moments.
The Prince and Princess of Wales moved into their ‘forever home’ Forest Lodge earlier this month. The move seemed to have been an effort to prepare for the next step in their royal roles, especially since Prince George will be turning 13.
After the young prince had marked his 12th birthday, royal protocols had gotten stricter, and now that his official training would begin, it was time that the Wales family set their own terms of what their future in the monarchy would look like.
While the mum of three had been excited about the new move and reportedly fully involved with the interior and décor of the home, she is also planning a big celebration, the fifth Together for Christmas carol service.
She is also hoping to make the festive season a little more special for the children given the many changes, according to former royal correspondent Jennie Bond. However, the expert notes that there is a looming tension for Kate and William.
“Catherine and William have tried not to spoil their children unduly, which can’t be easy when you love them to bits and can basically give them anything they want,” she told The Mirror.
“One thing they most definitely won’t be getting, however much they beg, is a smartphone. Mind you, that line is going to become increasingly difficult to hold as George enters his teenage years.”
Even though Kate is already swamped with preparations of the upcoming royal calendar event and the pressure to make sure everything is under flawless, she still worries for her children.
Despite the worries, Bond noted that moving to Forest Lodge and putting down permanent roots must be “so exciting” and amid the odds the family will make sure that their first holiday here is “pretty magical”.
