Bruno Mars reacts to BLACKPINK Rosé’s ‘APT’ Grammy glory
BLACKPINK Rosé dropped 'APT.' with Bruno Mars in October 2024
Bruno Mars cheered on Rose as their collaboration song, APT., scored three Grammy nominations.
After making her debut with the all girl group Blackpink in 2016, Rose has hit all the right notes in the lead single for her debut studio album, Rosie.
Shortly after the nominations for Grammys 2026 was unveiled the Talking To The Moon hitmaker took to his Instagram on Friday, November 7 to thank the recording academy and root for the 28-year-old K-pop sensation.
"Ayyye Thank You @recordingacademy @roses_are_rosie Look at that! [red heart emoji]," he captioned a post in which the first photo featured the duo hugging and the next slide showcased all the nominations their song bagged.
APT. is nominated in three categories at the 68th Grammy Awards:
- Album of the year,
- Song of the year and
- Best pop duo/group performance.
It is pertinent to note that Rose has made history with her three Grammy nominations, becoming the first female K-pop soloist to have a song nominated in the Grammys’ main six general field categories.
She released APT. on October 18, 2024 as her first solo single in three years after her first solo project was released in 2021, including the tracks On the Ground and Gone.
APT. quickly won fans over with its catchy lyrics and infectious melody, cleverly reimagining the Korean drinking game "apateu."
The song soared to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, went viral globally, and earned Rose the title of Song of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards
