Cardi B's boyfriend Stefon Diggs confirms baby's sex, hints at due date

Stefon Diggs is beyond excited to start a new parenthood journey with his pregnant girlfriend Cardi B.

The NFL Star, 31, shared the exciting update with People magazine at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, November 3, revealing for the first time the sex of his baby with the Grammy-winning rapper.

“It’s a boy. That’s enough for me,” he said. Diggs, who is already a girl-dad, added with a grin, “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”

The New England Patriots wide receiver also told Extra during the event that the couple’s bundle of joy will arrive “real soon,” asking fans to “wish us both luck” ahead of the big moment.

Cardi B, 33, first announced the pregnancy in September during an interview on CBS Mornings, telling Gayle King she was expecting her fourth child before the launch of her Little Miss Drama tour in February.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” she said at the time, adding, “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

The Bodack Yellow rapper began dating Diggs in October 2024, just one month after welcoming her third baby with ex-husband Offset. The former couple — who share daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 1, and son Wave, 4 — divorced after seven rocky years together.

As for Diggs — who shares 9-year-old daughter Nova with ex-girlfriend Tyler Marie — he’s already brainstorming baby names.

He previously expressed his predication about his and Cardi’s baby’s gender, saying that he’s “100% team boy.” Turns out, he was right on the nose.
