California’s launches first indoor multi-level karting track
Culver city in South California has opened first multi-level, fully electric go-karting track for racers
Go-kart racers are thrilled as Southern California introduces the first indoor karting track on October 28, 2025.
K1 Speed has opened the first multi-level indoor electric go-karting track facility for car racers in Culver City.
“The main attraction is the multi-level track, which is ‘state-of-the-art’ and a first for the region,” says the manufacturing company.
The new go-karting track includes sharp turns, acceleration zones, and a raised section that provides drivers with an overhead view of the course.
The fully electric indoor racing track is manufactured in Italy and can reach speeds of up to 45mph.
The company that operates indoor karting tracks across the U.S. and internationally states that its zero-emission vehicles are designed to deliver consistent torque and thrilling challenges for both new and experienced drivers.
“It feels right to introduce Southern California’s first multi-level indoor go-kart track in a city so deeply connected to the entertainment industry,” said Susan Danglard, co-founder and chief marketing officer of K1 Speed.
Many racers around the globe prefer indoor karting tracks, as they are weather-independent and offer controlled, safer environments, ideal for beginners and families — and focus on technical driving skills over raw speed.
