Why Justin Bieber 'loves' Hailey Bieber's tension with Selena Gomez
Justin reportedly sees his wife's feud with his ex-girlfriend as 'proof' Hailey loves him
Justin Bieber is apparently invested in the tensions between his wife Hailey Bieber and ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
According to the Daily Mail, the Sorry hitmaker views Hailey’s years-long public feud with Gomez as proof of her loyalty.
“Justin trusts Hailey to say what she wants to say and if she gets them into some drama, he’s going to ride or die with her, whether it is about Selena or not,” a source told the outlet on October 21, claiming that Justin believes “it shows that Hailey loves him — and he loves that.”
The insider described the couple as a united front who have no plans to back down from criticism, while Gomez is intent on moving forward, especially after marrying Benny Blanco last month.
“Selena’s main goal is now not to worry about Hailey and Justin ever again,” they said, noting she wants to be the “mature one” and leave the feud behind while the Biebers “continue to fan the flames.”
The renewed drama between the women reignited last week when Hailey seemingly shaded Gomez’s Rare Beauty brand during an interview with The Wall Street Journal while discussing her own Rhode Skin.
The Only Murders in the Building star later responded in a since-deleted Instagram post, writing, “Just leave the girl alone. She can say whatever she wants. Doesn’t affect my life whatsoever.”
Hailey and Justin tied the knot in 2018 — the same year he and Gomez called off their eight-year on-off relationship for good.
