People across the world have been experiencing a massive internet outage as many of the world’s biggest websites and applications have stopped functioning properly.
According to DownDetector at 3:44 a.m. 5,852 users reported issues with Amazon Web Services. The majority of complaints, which is around 77 percent, came from the US East region, 13 percent from US West and 12 percent from US West-2.
As per tracking website, Snapchat, Roblox, Fortnite, Duolingo, and Canva have also been knocked out due to internet disruptions.
The issue appears to be associated with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage, impacting thousands of users in the United States. These services are known for offering infrastructure that supports much of the modern internet and allows companies’ servers to run their websites and apps.
AWS is also the popular provider of cloud services globally.
Recently, Amazon has posted the service status, demonstrating that it is grappling with disruptive problems at its north Virginia’s facilities. Moreover, Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon Elastic Computer Cloud are also affected by the issues.
