Audi Formula One team multi-year deal announced ahead of 2026 factory team debut with Sauber
Adidas, German athletic footwear mogul has become the official motorsport attire partner for the Audi Formula One team starting next year 2026.
The German automaker announced on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 that multi-year partnership positions the sportswear giant to outfit Audi’s factory team as it enters F1 in 2026 alongside major regulatory changes and Cadillac’s arrival as the 11th team.
Gernot Doellner, chairman of the Volkswagen-owned Audi revealed: “Our partnership in Formula 1 goes far beyond the pursuit of innovation and peak performance, it combines the strengths and visions of two progressive brands.”
Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden expressed that the company is proud to partner with the future Audi F1 team and support their debut into the highest level of competition.
The collaboration will produce a joint product line featuring apparel, footwear, and accessories before the 2026 season begins.
In the meantime, Adidas already serves as kit supplier to the Mercedes F1 team.
The historic business deal aligns with the Swiss-based Sauber, currently eighth in constructors’ standings, transitions into Audi’s factory team ahead of F1’s new engine phase.
German sportswear collaboration major move marks a significant expansion of the company in elite motorsport.
