Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter lands in ‘trouble’ after latest announcement
Apple Martin’s latest collaboration sparks ‘nepotism’ debate
Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin has sparked concerns among fans after her latest collaboration with a fashion house went viral.
The 21-year-old was announced as the face of the London-based brand Self-Portrait on Tuesday, September 9, much to fans’ surprise.
While some extended heartfelt congratulations to the daughter of Paltrow and Chris Martin, others couldn’t wrap their heads around the nepotism debate, rolling their eyes in disdain.
One sarcastic user commented, “Oh thank goodness, I was so worried another one of Hollywood’s finest children might not land a super cushy job with no talent to validate the achievement. All is well in the world now.”
Another added, “THIS is nepotism gone bad.”
Meanwhile, a third wrote, “How is this chick the face of anything? Must be nice to be a nepo baby with no talent.”
The news comes after Apple announced her collaboration with the brand on Instagram, sharing a series of photos alongside a caption praising Self-Portrait’s “effortless, confident and self-expressive spirit of a generation of young customers that continues to inspire the fashion house and its designs.”
For the unversed, Self-Portrait is a modern fashion house based in London, with a growing following among younger audiences.
