Peter Mandelson hailed Epstein as ‘best pal’ in birthday book
In alleged 'birthday book' , Mandelson shared heartfelt messages for Jeffrey Epstein
Peter Mandelson, British ambassador to US, has called Jeffrey Epstein his “best pal” in a birthday greeting that came to the surface after the release of an alleged “birthday book.”
The book published by the US lawmakers contains the photo of Lord Mandelson and Epstein captured together on a sumptuous island along with the handwritten note.
The note says, ““Once upon a time, an intelligent, sharp-witted man they call ‘mysterious’ parachuted into my life.”
Another picture featuring Mandelson and Epstein sitting in a boat with the text of “Happy Birthday Jeffery. We love you.”
An official spokesperson for Lord Mandelson commented, “Lord Mandelson has long been clear that he very much regrets ever having been introduced to Epstein.”
Two years earlier, Mandelson even said in an interview, “he very much regrets ever having been introduced to Epstein.”
Besides the UK ambassador's comments, the book also includes the alleged notes from the US President Donald Trump. However, the White House refuted the authenticity of the notes.
The “birthday book” was compiled by Epstein’s British co-conspirator and ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell. She was indicted of conspiring in the illegal human trafficking.
