Apple ‘Awe Dropping’ event: iPhone 17, iOS 26, Apple Watch 11, AirPods Pro 3, much more

Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event is scheduled for September 9, 2025, at Apple Park in Cupertino. The event will be streamed live on Apple’s official website, Apple’s official YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app.

The main focus of the event is the new iPhone line-up, but several other products are anticipated.

Apple is expected to launch four new iPhone models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The new iPhone will be built with AI integration of “Apple Intelligence” features in iOS 26. The Air model is expected to be about 5.5mm thick. It will feature a 6.6-inch screen with a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, a feature previously launched in Pro Models.

The Pro models are going to have a major camera overhaul, possibly including a 48-megapixel telephoto lens.

A report from JPMorgan suggested that the prices will be largely the same as the iPhone 16 line-up, except for the iPhone 17 Pro, which is expected to see a price increase. This is likely due to the base storage increasing to 256GB.

Apple Watch Series 11 is the newest version of Apple’s popular smartwatch with improved health sensors and performance. Apple Watch Ultra 3 will be an updated version with enhanced features for adventure tracking and fitness.

AirPods Pro 3 are expected to have better noise cancellation, a refreshed design, and potentially new health features like a heart rate monitor.

The other products include refreshed iPads, possibly including iPad Pro and iPad Air. A new Apple TV 4K model. A long-awaited Apple HomePod with a display.

The event will officially launch iOS 26, which has been in public beta testing. The new operating system is a part of Apple’s strategy, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence.
