A woman has survived a devastating crash on a major Sydney motorway
A woman in her 20s has survived a severe five-vehicle crash near the Light Horseman Interchange in the city’s west.
It has been a miracle after a tragic incident, when a woman has successfully escaped near-death experience as she was found being sandwiched between the multiple trucks. Her car Toyota Yaris was completely shattered in spine-chilling tragedy.
Miraculously, firefighters found the woman in a stable condition, breathing well and sound.
Firefighting crews were able to instantly take her out of the wreckage on the M7 at Eastern Creek.
Keeping in view the tragic calamity, a helicopter was dropped onto the middle of the M7 to clear and uplift the wreckage so that the car could be pulled out easily.
The woman was pulled out and rushed to hospital and she is in a stable condition.
Inspector Andrew Ticehurst and Rescue NSW said that the car was “sandwiched between two trucks.”
He further confirmed that the driver was in a conscious state when the fire crew first arrived.
Investigations are underway and for the time being she had only sustained injuries on her face.
