Beckham family rift sparks new questions after rare insights come to light

The Beckhams have still been unable to resolve the issues with son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz and an insider revealed surprising details into the drama.

While David, 50, and Victoria, 51, have seemingly been trying to reconcile with their eldest son, a source revealed that the drama caught fire because of the fashion mogul.

The insider claimed that the soccer star and his wife "have been relentless for the last five years, constantly going after Brooklyn and Nicola," according to RadarOnline.

They continued, "There's been this ongoing pressure and criticism; they just can't seem to let Brooklyn and Nicola live their lives."

The source went on to share that contrary to popular beliefs about Victoria and Nicola’s beef starting at the wedding day, it was sprouting even before.

Reportedly, the tensions among the daughter and mother-in-law started when Nicola chose to not wear a bridal gown from Victoria’s brand for her big day.

However, they added that the actress, 30, tried to make up several times, “Nicola ended up wearing Victoria's brand several times after the wedding because Nicola genuinely wanted to support her mother-in-law. But nothing is ever enough for Victoria."

The Spice Girls alum allegedly also took offense when Nicola spent time with her grandmother, who died shortly after, rather than attending Victoria’s 50th birthday party in 2024.

Although Nicola has tried to look over things because the Beckhams are "great in-laws," the source concluded, "When it comes to Nicola, there's no pleasing them."
