Buckingham Palace drops exciting video as King Charles welcomes Macron
King Charles teams up with Prince William, Princess Kate for important royal task
King Charles' office released a delightful video, showcasing that Windsor is all set for Emmanuel Macron's arrival.
On July 8, the official Instagram page of the royal family shared video glimpses, showing the castle and its surrounding area full of the UK and France's flags.
The King's team wrote on the video, "All set to welcome Emmanuel Macron and Mrs Macron in Windsor today."
First, the Prince and Princess of Wales will attend the French President and his better half, Mr and Mrs Macron, at RAF Northolt on behalf of King Charles III.
It has been said that the monarch honoured William and Catherine with this significant royal duty.
Later, the Waleses and Marcrons will join King Charles and Queen Camilla for a formal ceremonial welcome at the Royal Dais in Windsor.
According to GB, the monarch is expected to send a meaningful message to Macron about the two countries' shared values.
He will emphasise the need for unity between the UK and France facing "modern threats."
An insider from the Palace shared that the King will say that "our two countries face a multitude of complex threats, emanating from multiple directions. As friends and as allies, we face them together."
