Prince William, who has been undertaking some important engagements this week, has received some exciting updates from his crucial endeavours.
The Prince of Wales, who is Patron of The Football Association, conducted a key engagement to uplift the spirits for his country.
The future King visited the England’s women’s football team just as they head off to Switzerland to defend their title in the 2025 UEFA Euros.
Kensington Palace on Monday evening released a special message alongside a footage from William’s meeting with the team as they will be flying on July 2.
“Best of luck to the Lionesses at the Women’s Euros,” the message read. “Take pride in all that’s been achieved and believe in bringing home the win!”
The update also came just as William is set to celebrate a major milestone for his passion project, which is also a nod to his late mother, Princess Diana.
William’s five-year initiative, Homewards, which had been inspired by the advocacy of Diana, officially completed its two years. The second anniversary also falls on what would have been Diana’s 64th birthday.
The heir to the throne issued a heartfelt letter addressed to the teams working on the programme and commended their efforts in their mission to end homelessness in the UK. He also gave his confidence as they are in the “delivery mode” of the initiative.
To mark the occasion, William will be travelling to Sheffield in northern England to see the work that is being done for the project.
