Justin Bieber is making headlines again with a gesture that's sparking debate about his public behaviour.
The 30-year-old singer had previously shown support for 17-year-old actress Ariana Greenblatt after she shared a promotional photo for her new Netflix horror film, Fear Street: Prom Queen.
Posting a photo of herself stepping into the character, she wrote in the caption, “Fear Street: Prom Queen is out now on Netflix!!!
“Horror had always been one of my favourite genres and to have this movie be my introduction into the world was an honour. Long live Christy Renault. @amberasaly you’re the goat (we had 5 mins in a furniture shop to get these pictures ahah).”
In response to her post, Bieber was quick to share his unfiltered sentiments as he wrote, “I love youuuuuuuu.”
Netizens couldn’t contain their excitement within as they rushed to the comments section to share their responses.
One fan wrote, “He’s married. She’s 17. What’s he doing?”
Another chimed in, adding, “Back off”
A third spoke in the favour of the Baby singer, noting, “People are too quick to judge.”
This follows the backlash he faced for making misogynistic remarks about his wife Hailey Bieber's magazine cover appearance.
The series was initially slated for release in January but postponed to March 4
