Victoria Beckham surprises Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn with birthday wear after snub

Victoria Beckham may not have received a birthday message from her and David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, but she appeared to send a silent signal of love, or perhaps a little shade, through her outfit choice.

Posting a series of photos on her Instagram on Friday, April 18, the former Spice Girl star offered a glimpse of her 51st birthday celebrations with her husband, their son Romeo, daughter Harper, and some friends.

Her two elder sons Brooklyn, 26, and Cruz, who are allegedly not on talking terms with each other, didn’t join the rest of the family, further fueling the rift rumours.

The renowned fashion designer was seen in two striking looks: a sleek all-black ensemble during the yacht ride and a bustier-style white corset and long pants during an intimate dinner with friends and family at a beach side restaurant.

The white corset drew particular attention, as fans quickly noted it was nearly identical to the one Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, wore back in February 2024.

Given the ongoing buzz about strained family dynamics, Victoria’s fashion statement can be interpreted as a subtle nod or peace offering toward her son and daughter-in-law.

Despite the apparent olive branch, the Cloud23 founder remained silent about his mother’s birthday.

Instead, just an hour after Victoria posted her celebratory snaps, he shared a carousel of photos from Coachella with Nicola.

"Made amazing memories this year x [heart emoji]" he captioned his Instagram post with no mention of his mother’s milestone.
