KARACHI: Pakistan qualified for the quarterfinals of the 22nd Asian Junior Squash Team Championships 2025 after the side defeated Macau, China 3-0 in their final group match on Thursday.
Squash player Abdullah Nawaz led the charge as he won over Ka Hei with sets of 11-3, 11-4 and 11-6 in just 16 minutes.
Anas Ali Shah followed suit, overcoming Keng In Leong 11-3, 11-3, 11-4 in 15 minutes. Sakhi Ullah Khan Tareen sealed the victory with an 11-3, 11-3, 11-7 triumph against Ian Miguel De Dousa in 16 minutes.
Pakistan’s unbeaten run in the tournament includes victories over India and China earlier in the competition.
The team now plays Japan in their quarterfinal as they aim for the championship title.
