'Superman' new teaser: Upset Henry Cavill fans draw comparison with David Corenswet

Superman’s new teaser has been dropped by the makers which has left fans extremely angry.

The all-new 30 seconds video has once again triggered outrage on the internet as fans are comparing the performance of the new successor David Corenswet with Henry Cavill.

Cavill fans seem unpleasant with the new teaser as they believe the makers have just 'downgraded' the superhero.

One of the netizens wrote: “The downgrade is insane.”

Social media users are posting videos comparing the portrayal of Superman by both the actors.

One critic shared a video of the 41-year-old actor from the Man of Steel and added: “Let’s remind you exactly what Superman flying looks like.” He continued saying: “Henry Cavill IS Superman.”

Previously, when DC CEO James Gunn dropped the official trailer of the 2025 film, even then, the internet flooded with negative reactions as The Witcher star’s followers drew the same comparison at the time as well.

The upcoming action sci-fi backed by Warner Bros. is going to hit theatres on July 11, 2025. Besides David, the star cast also includes Nicholas Hoult, Rachel Brosnahan, Isabel Merced and Milly Alcock.
