Prince William leaves Kate Middleton 'unable to forget' one gift giving mishap
Princess Kate shared in September that she had completed her preventative chemotherapy
Prince William once left Kate Middleton thoroughly amused—and slightly baffled—over a surprising gift choice during the early days of their courtship.
In those early days of romance, William was not confident in gift-giving, and one choice left his now-wife seriously confused, so much so that she vowed to 'never let him forget it'
William, 42, shared the story of an unusual gift he once gave during a guest appearance on former England striker Peter Crouch's podcast on BBC Radio Five Live.
While discussing gift-giving, Crouch revealed that he had bought his wife, model Abbey Clancy, the same raincoat for three consecutive birthdays.
And William admitted: "I did get my wife a pair of binoculars once - she's never let me forget that. That was early on in the courtship. It didn't go well."
This holiday season is set to be especially meaningful for the family as they come together after a challenging year.
King Charles III continues his cancer treatment, while Princess Kate shared in September that she had completed her preventative chemotherapy.
