King Charles III, who's currently on foreign royal trips to strengthen his reign, has shattered Prince William's hopes of becoming a King sooner.
Prince William, heir to the throne as eldest son of the monarch, was reportedly planning his coronation amid rumours King Charles would abdicate in his favour due to advanced age and ongoing battle against cancer.
However, the 75-year-old King has vowed to serve his people till the last breath as he revealed the world he is still very much in charge and would not abdicate.
Royal expert Roya Nikkha shared Kings meaningful words from his speech as the monarch told CHOGM Samoa: “For my part, I can assure you today that for however many years God grants me, I will join you and the people of the Commonwealth on every step of this journey.
"Let us learn from the lessons of the past. Let us be proud of who we are today.”
A report by In Touch Weekly recently claimed that the Prince of Wales has already started planning his own coronation ceremony.
The insider said that William has already “taken more control at the palace, staying in constant contact with Charles’ aides,” adding, “He’s basically the Firm’s point man right now.”
However, King Charles has seemingly quashed rumours of his abdications with his latest statement at an important event in Samoa.
