Buckingham Palace celebrates as King Charles wins Australia back
Royal family shares heartwarming moments King Charles with Australians
Buckingham Palace has celebrated King Charles III's big achievement in Australia amid protests from anti-monarchy groups.
The royal family's social media accounts have shared details of the King's wow moments as thousands of Australians come to greet the monarch amid protests.
The Palace shared heartwarming photos pf the King and people of Australia with caption: "Wow Sydney, what a turnout!"
Reacting to post one wrote: "Sydney has truly outdone itself! The incredible turnout to welcome Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla is a testament to the vibrant spirit and unity of our city.
"It’s moments like these that showcase the warmth and enthusiasm of the Australian people."
Another added: "Republicans branded it the 'farewell tour', but it was nothing of the short. They called upon Australians to 'bid farewell to the Royal Family' but the supportive crowds were huge, especially outside the Sydney Opera House.
"Protesters were massively outnumbered and would have gone completely unnoticeable, were it not for that one senator who achieved nothing but making a spectacle of herself. The King and Queen were relaxed and willing to talk to and shake hands with everyone. A huge success! I don't see Australia becoming a republic in the near future."
