Prince Edward recently travelled overseas to Monaco, while his daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, returned to Scotland for her studies.
The Duke of Edinburgh, 60, arrived at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport earlier this week, as part of his role as Chairman of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, a charity founded by his father, Prince Philip, in 1956, reported GB News.
During his visit, Edward attended a dinner at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall, raising £85,000 for the charity, and visited several institutions, including the International School of Monaco and St Paul's Anglican Church.
He also participated in a reception hosted by Prince Albert of Monaco at the Yacht Club de Monaco on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Lady Louise Windsor, 20, headed back to the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she is starting her third year studying English. This summer, she took part in several carriage driving competitions and is currently enrolled in the typical four-year course offered at Scottish universities.
The Duke’s wife, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, has also been busy with international engagements. Last week, she visited Tanzania as a Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, where she delivered a message from King Charles.
Both the Duke and Duchess are expected to continue their overseas duties with a trip to Malta next month, a country with strong ties to the Royal Family, where Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip spent time as newlyweds.
