Heather Locklear looked back on her short-lived fling with Tom Cruise.
While addressing the 90s Con Florida panel, on Saturday, the Uptown Girls actress dished on details of her first meeting with Cruise during an audition.
“We both did an audition for the film together — the two of us —and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I'm terrible,’” but "'He's even worse!’” she joked, via People Magazine.
The actress, 62, added, “Neither of us got that part by the way.”
The Melrose Place star went on to describe the Mission Impossible actor at the time, as “this little baby boy." She shared that she felt like she "was a little bit older, and he ended up coming over to my house with Sean Penn. And they were just nice, but he was very, ‘yes ma'am’ to me, and I was like, ‘okay, sir.’”
She shared that the two ended up going on a date, “We went out dancing to Club Lingerie at that time and, and I've said this before, I mean, he was really cute.”
However, the Top Gun star “didn’t quite cut it,” for her, due to their different styles.
Locklear also went on to reveal that during their first date, Cruise performed his famous move from Risky Business, in which he slides down on his knees, in front of her.
“He actually did that before [the movie], and I was dancing along like, ‘Do you stop dancing if they're down there?’” she remembered thinking. “I was like ‘Yay!’ But he was very nice to me.”
The pair was rumored to have dated in the 80s but the actress confirmed they never went out on a second date.
