Neom is also building another tourist destination by the name of Leyja in Northwest Saudi Arabia.
Leyja in Neom will feature three different hotels designed by world-renowned architects in an ancient valley overhung by mountains 400 metres tall, according to Arch Daily.
A staggering hotel by Chris van Duijn, a mirrored hotel by Shaun Killa, and a vertical rock hotel by Mario Cucinella are part of this project under the vision of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
Aiming to integrate eco-friendly construction techniques that blend with the landscape, 95% of Leyja’s land is planned to be kept untouched along with a prime priority on preserving nature.
A total of 120 boutique rooms and suites, split equally with 40 keys each will be provided by the three intricately structured hotels.
On the other hand, Neom has also announced the construction of Xaynor. Offering a serene sanctuary away from the hustle of everyday life, Xaynor aims to give an exclusive retreat where resident members can bask in the untouched luxury of the Gulf of Aqaba's coastline.
