Emily Blunt, who recently starred alongside Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guy, surrounded by death-defying stunts had a story of her own to tell.
The actress has been known for doing some impressive stunts for action movies but the stunt that stressed her out had not been from any of the thrillers she was in.
In an interview with People Magazine, Blunt shared that the scariest stunt she did was actually in 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns.
“That entrance was very stressful for me,” she recalled.
She explained that her character’s entrance “had to start in the clouds and come all the way down toward the ground while holding an umbrella aloft. And I’m supposed to walk effortlessly into my close-up as if it’s nothing.”
“I did three takes — and then I felt my tolerance go, ‘Pfft!’ And that was it. I was done,” the Oppenheimer star added.
Fans would have assumed that Blunt’s daring stunts would have been from sci-fi action movie Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise, but that wasn’t the case.
“I did some wire stuff in Edge of Tomorrow, which was probably more dangerous, because I took some spills,” she said.
