VIDEO: Bidens' cat Willow takes over White House with adorable feline energy
Bidens' cat Willow can be seen exploring White House decorations in video
Willow the cat, owned by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, is getting set for a very special Christmas because she appears heavily in a new video that showcases the White House's holiday decorations.
"Willow, your fur has snow on it!" As the first animal rolled around in some fake flakes that adorned one of the holiday displays at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. as part of its "Magic, Wonder, and Joy" theme this year, Jill Biden gasped in the video.
The 3-year-old grey cat can be seen exploring the White House decorations in the video, and at one point she is seen smelling a life-sized cat figurine that is supposed to be her resemblance with curiosity.
“It was amazing, really. She came to one of my speeches in a barn. She came and sat on the chair and listened to the speech,” the first lady remembered the moment she saw Willow for the first time.
According to Biden, she warmed up to the cat after it barged onto the stage and cut her off during a 2020 campaign visit at a farm in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
The Bidens said that Willow had been welcomed into the White House the previous year.
