Parliamentary leaders call on governor
PESHAWAR: A delegation of parliamentary leaders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly led by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak called on the Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra here on Tuesday.
They remained with the governor for sometimes and discussed matters of mutual interest with special reference to the law and order situation in the province and social welfare of the people, said a handout.
Senior Minister KP and Parliamentary leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Inayatullah Khan, parliamentary leader of Pakistan Mulsim League –Nawaz Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha and parliamentary leader of PPP Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha were in attendance. Provincial President of PML-N Pir Sabir Shah and Finance Minister Muzzaffar Said were also present on the occasion.
They apprised the governor about the difficulties and problems which the people of the province were faced with and suggested their solutions to resolve the grievances of the people.The governor assured them to take all possible steps to redress the problems facing the people on priority basis.
